Exploration Management Including Planning And Execution

A successful exploration campaign relies on carefully interpreting geological, geochemical and geophysical data and applying the results to generate and test exploration targets.

Our exploration management services include Interpreting, validating, analysing, and managing technical data to design and implement a unique work programme.

Through sampling and high-quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures, we deliver technical studies and reserve estimations to international standards.

Geochemistry

A comprehensive geochemical survey involves sampling soil, stream sediment, heavy mineral concentrates, and kimberlite indicator minerals.

Our services include exploration geochemical programme design and review, orientation studies to determine suitable sampling media and analytical methods, data analysis and target generation from geochemical results and sampling programme implementation and supervision.

Geophysics And Remote Sensing

Our team of multi-skilled geological experts assimilates complex data sets to generate and refine targets, define controls on mineralisation, and delineate prospective structures and sequences. Integrating the data with our geological and structural knowledge enables us to identify geological processes, detect structures, and assess the likelihood of ore deposit accumulation.

Our services include interpretation of aeromagnetic and satellite imagery data to produce structural and geological maps that help target deposits and building of interactive GIS maps and models that can be updated over time.

Target Generation

We make assessment and validation of data to determine highly prospective areas and generate exploration targets. RockEx has experience and expertise to design exploration programs, implement sampling programs, manage drilling programs, core logging services and coordinate data collection, complete field mapping and structural interpretations.

Resource Estimation

Through our international partner Aurum Exploration, we develop structural geological models, and estimate resource and reserves comply with international reporting standards.

We have access to 3D resource modelling software such as Leapfrog and have experts capable of integrating geological field data into reserves for potential evaluation of resource and for feasibility studies.
